9:00AM - 10:00AM - Gather at the Treetops Terrace for: check-in and same day registration, t-shirt pick-up, gather with team members, face painting for children, sponsor tables and refreshments
10:00AM -10:30AM - Welcome, speakers from the medical community and the DMRF
10:30AM - Walk the zoo and spread the word about dystonia
Dystonia Zoo Walks are a community effort - the more people who attend, the greater our impact. Invite your friends and family and START your TEAM today! Teams of 10 people or more will receive a personalized team t-shirt. Teams must be completely registered by October 28 to ensure that your custom team t-shirt will be available. All t-shirts will be available for pick-up the morning of the event during registration - t-shirts will not be shipped.

How it Works
Dystonia Zoo Walks do not have a designated walking course. You walk at your own pace and experience the zoo at your leisure. You and your Team will gather in a designated area on the morning of the walk to interact with other participants and enjoy the event festivities. After the brief remarks from local medical experts and patient advocates you are free to enjoy the zoo at your own leisure, raising awareness among zoo patrons with your dystonia awareness t-shirt.
Why We Walk
When you participate in one of our zoo walks, you are making a positive impact in the lives of those affected by dystonia by helping raise funds to support our mission to advance research while providing information and support to families impacted by all forms of dystonia. In 2019, the Dystonia Medical Research Foundation (DMRF) along with our local volunteers will host Dystonia Zoo Walks across the country. 2019 will be our first ever Los Angeles Zoo Walk. Come be apart of our community and commemorate our first ever Los Angeles Zoo Walk.

When registering, be sure to selected our team!
Fees: $25 for Adults /$15 for children (12 yrs and under). This includes access to the zoo, refreshments, and a t-shirt. Every registrant will receive a t-shirt but only registrants on teams of 10 or more will receive a personalized t-shirt.
